In July of 2012, I went with Debbie Hughes on a bus tour that took us to several fabric stores and this antique store near Sisters, Oregon. It was such a fun trip!! There is famous quilt show in Sisters where the whole (small) town participates. As many stores as want to hang quilts outside their buildings, the day of the show. Don't know how many thousands of people come, but they come from all over. We made friends with a couple of "Brits", there from England, and met some from Australia too. The main streets are closed off, lots of food places do a record business. Most years, the day is perfect, not too warm with no rain. Our bus got us there early and then we left about 1:00, As we drove out of town, there was a line of cars, miles long waiting to get into town. Also, there were clouds on the horizon. But we got to see it all and were exhausted.
