5' x 5' quilt for rescue vehicles

This quilt is five feet by five feet to be used by rescue vehicles in town.  It's made from small pieces of fabric from my scrap basket. 

New quilt from HST's

This small quilt will go to a newborn at church.  For the back, at bottom, I sewed material together that was all the same except for the color.  Then I made the top from more HST's.  I really enjoy making HST's, I don't know why.  The man who cleaned and serviced my machine said, it must get quite hot, especially on the bars that move the needle and presser foot up and down.  Quilts like these probably are why.
