I made three quilts like this. They're 9 patch using a pictured square in the center, fussy cut, with plaid squares and matching plain fabric squares. It took a long time to make these quilts because I had to match up the colors a little. I also had to fussy cut pictures of little things from my specialty fabrics. There are smiley faces, animals, bubbles, dinosaurs, flowers, insects, etc. One quilt was for my friend's granddaughter, another for Vere's sister-in-law's granddaughter and another for Kids in Crisis. Since I was making the quilt, I figured I might as well make 2 more. I also wrote out a list of the things pictured - "I Spy"
