Jill's having a baby the end of May!! Jill asked for yellow and gray. I happened to have some really pretty pieces of fabric in those colors. I made this pattern that I've made before, easy to do and I love how it looks. When you make the cut off corners for the center squares, you end up with wonky half square triangles that you can either discard, square up for another project, or do what I did here - sew together however they turned out and make an interesting border. For the backing, I used strips of fabric from the front to add to the light color backing.
