Lap Size, Split 9-Patch, 2009

This is the Split 9-patch, where  you sew together random fabric into a 9 patch, then cut the block twice, once horizontal, and then vertical.  Then you turn each corner once either right or left, whichever. and then sew the block back together.  It makes a complicated looking block.  This picture is a little out of focus, but the quilt turned out so colorful.  I gave it to Autumn, in our ward that I used to visit teach.  I machine quilted it.
