I had seen this idea for a block in a magazine. SO many patterns, so little time!! It's actually called the "snowball" block, made from a large square with small squares sewn on each corner at an angle then the corner clipped off. This quilt was made for Val's friend, Megan when she got married. I found the brightest fabric I could for the quilt and it looked like bubble gum balls, so that's what I named it.
