I think this is the only log cabin I've ever attempted. I'm not that crazy about the design, but wanted to make at least one. This is for Megan Hartly who was our neighbor in Maplewood. She worked for the textile company that made mostly shirts and she gave me boxes and boxes of sample material, mostly plaid. This was all made of plaids, I used paper patterns to sew on to try and make it straight. It's Okay.
