When Val and Greg were married, Tina plotted this quilt out on graph paper and cut out a lot of the pieces. Each piece is (I think) 2 inches, ending up at 1 1/2 inches when sewn. I sewed it together very slowly, it took me years but I finally finished it January of 2012. I hand quilted it, I don't know why, but just felt like it. I'd get a whole section done and think I was finished, then find another whole section that I hadn't touched. Whew, there was a lot of quilting, You can't see it very well, but I found the perfect blue for the outside border.
