2013 throw size for KIC
A woman here in Moab died, too young, and she had tons of fabric. Her family gave some to our Relief Society president who asked me if I wanted some. Of course! She brought some to me, three large garbage bags full. Instead of throwing any out, I called a couple women to come help themselves. Then I separated it a little, cut it up to go with 3 or 4 patterns I selected - days and weeks of work. then I sewed some of the the quilts up. This is one of the patterns I used, very easy to make with very little to match up. So I call these my "Marion" quilts because that was her name. This was one of this pattern I made and gave to the Kids in Crisis.
