My sister had a Siamese cat that was very special in her family. The cat had a real personality and everyone obeyed her obvious wishes. My sister, Jackie, said the cat's name was over time, Freddie, Rambo, and finally Princess. When I saw this picture on a beach towel, I knew it would be a perfect pattern to use for a quilt of Princess. I happened to buy a pack of fat quarters with the blue - green batiks, so beautiful, and another pack with the browns, and the two were perfect for the quilt. This is the first quilt I've pieced like this and it was a little tricky, but I like the way it turned out. They have it hanging in the stairwell leading downstairs, the chandelier in the way of the picture.
